Trico Spinner - Female

The female Trico spinner has a light olive body.  Trico mayflies usually hatch around September and often hatch in huge numbers. Except for fishing such a small fly, Trico hatches, and the soon after spinner fall, are a ton of fun to fish. Their sheer numbers can often really bring up the fish and leave you wondering where to cast next.
